Correct maintenance is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of the fan and the improvement of the service life of the fan. Therefore, when using the fan, it must be paid sufficient attention.
Repair and maintenance of impeller
In the early stage of impeller operation and all regular inspections, as long as there is a chance, it is necessary to check whether the impeller has cracks, wear, dust and other defects.
As long as it is possible, the impeller must be kept clean, and the dust and rust must be brushed off regularly with the wire brush, because with the extension of the running time, the dust is impossible to adhere to the impeller evenly, resulting in the destruction of the impeller balance and the vibration of the rotor.
As long as the impeller is repaired, it needs to be balanced again. If available, the balance can be carried out in the field using a portable test balance instrument. All fastening bolts must be checked for tightness before balancing. Because the impeller has been operating in an unbalanced state for some time, these bolts may have become loose.
Maintenance of casing and intake chamber
In addition to regular inspection of the casing and intake chamber for serious wear and removal of serious dust accumulation, these parts do not need other special maintenance.
Regularly check whether all the tightening bolts are tight, and press the butterfly spring on the bottom foot to the installation height specified in the drawing for the fan with the tightening bolt part.
Maintenance of bearing department
Always check the bearing lubricating oil supply. If there is oil leakage in the box, the bolt of the end cover can be tightened a little. If this is not enough, it may have to change to a new sealing packing.
When the lubricating oil of the bearing is in normal use, it should be replaced at least once within half a year. When it is used for the first time, it should be carried out after about 200 hours of operation. The second oil change time should be carried out in 1 to 2 months. When replacing, the lubricating oil of the specified brand must be used (as specified on the general drawing), and the old oil in the tank must be completely cleaned and cleaned before the new oil can be filled.
If the fan bearing is to be replaced, the following matters should be paid attention to:
Before loading the new bearing, the bearing and bearing box must be very clean. The bearing is heated in the oil with a temperature of about 70 ~ 80 ° C and then loaded on the shaft, and the assembly shall not be forced to avoid damage to the shaft.
Maintenance of other supporting equipment
The repair and maintenance of each supporting equipment including motors, electric actuators, instruments, meters, etc., can be found in the respective operating instructions. These instructions are provided by each supporting manufacturer, and the manufacturer will provide these instructions to users in random boxes.
Maintenance when the fan is out of use
When the fan is stopped in use, when the ambient temperature is lower than 5℃, the residual water of the equipment and pipelines should be discharged to avoid freezing the equipment and pipelines.
Maintenance work when the fan is not used for long-term parking storage
Coating the surface of bearings and other main parts with anti-rust oil to avoid corrosion.
Every half month or so, the fan rotor should be manually moved to rotate half a circle (180°), and the shaft end should be marked before moving, so that the original top point is located at the bottom after moving the rotor.
