Use and operation of the industrial blower fans

1. Preparation before starting industrial blower fans.

  •  Close the regulating damper and the inlet and outlet damper of the fan;
  • Manually turn the car, check the gap of each part of the fan, rotate the impeller and the casing to see if there is friction;
  • The coupling and belt pulley protective passport are installed in place;
  • Whether the oil level of the bearing box meets the lubricating oil level during operation;
  • For the fan with water cooling bearing, check whether the water supply of the cooling pipe is good;
  •  Electrically determine the steering of the fan, and check whether there is water leakage and oil leakage phenomenon and vibration, abnormal sound, peculiar smell and other phenomena.

2. Start the fan

  • Start the fan (pay attention to whether the operation is smooth);
  •  After the fan is started, the wind door is gradually opened until the actual air volume required for production; When opening the wind door, pay attention to the operating current of the motor to prevent the wind door from opening too large and causing fan overload;
  • After starting, the temperature of the fan bearing should be detected, and the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 40 degrees of the ambient temperature on the site;

3. Check the fan during operation

  • Listen to whether the fan is running smoothly, whether there is abnormal sound or friction;
  • Check whether the foot bolts are loose;
  • Test the temperature and lubrication of the bearing;
  • whether the cooling water of bearing lubricating oil is smooth and whether there is a temperature difference between the inlet and outlet pipes;
  •  whether there is lubricating oil leakage in the bearing box;
  • Whether there is abnormal noise in the bearing box and bearing operation, and whether the rotation is smooth;
  • Check whether the current operation is stable;

4. Emergency stop

  • The fan is found to have severe noise;
  • There is friction between impeller and casing;
  • Sudden intensification of casing vibration;
  • the bearing temperature continues to rise and exceeds the allowable temperature rise range;
  • The sudden increase of current could not be recovered within 2 minutes;
  • Serious oil leakage of bearing box;
  •  The cooling water is interrupted for more than half an hour.

5. Shut down the fan

 

1) Stop the fan operation after reducing the load;

2) close the inlet and outlet valve of cooling water;

3) If the hot air is transported, the fan should be stopped when the air temperature of the fan is reduced to 40 degrees after stopping the heater;

4) After the fan is stopped, the drain valve at the bottom of the casing should be opened for drainage; At the same time, close the blower inlet and outlet damper.
